HOW TO USE

Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin in the evening.

If you are new to Retinol Plus XC, start slowly and gradually increase frequency as your skin acclimates. Because this is the higher-strength XC formula, it is intended for individuals who are already accustomed to high-strength retinoids.

Follow with a moisturizer as needed.

Always use broad-spectrum SPF during the day while using retinol.

ESTHETICIAN TIP

Retinol Plus XC is not where I'd have a retinol beginner start. Think of this as the "I've already done the retinol thing and my skin is ready for more" option.

If you're transitioning from a lower-strength retinoid, introduce it gradually rather than assuming more is automatically better. And on nights when you're using Retinol Plus XC, keep the rest of your routine relatively uncomplicated. Your skin does not need a full chemistry experiment every Tuesday night.
